LADIES CHRISTMAS EVENT
SUNDAY, DECEMBER 12
Next Sunday our ladies will be leaving service at 11:15 am to go to lunch at a local restaurant and then head to Washington, Iowa for the Live Animal Christmas Play at Marion Avenue Baptist Church which begins at 2 P.M. Cost of event: each lady pays for her own lunch. If you would like to attend but have not yet signed up, contact Kassi J.
JBC FAMILY CHRISTMAS PROGRAM

Sign up today to be a part of our Christmas Celebration! Individuals and families are asked to share their talent or interest for our program by singing a song, sharing a scripture, doing a skit or short drama, reading a poem or devotion, telling a joke, etc. All Christmas themed. HOMEMADE COOKIES AND MILK

Each year following our Christmas program we have a sweet time of connecting while munching on Santa's favorite snack, cookies and milk. This year we are asking for individuals to contribute 4 dozen homemade cookies. We ask that all 4 dozen are the same variety of cookie,. You can sign up to bring one variety of several varieties of cookies, please just make sure there is a minimum of 4 dozen per variety. Bring cookies to church Sunday morning. Sign up at the back table in the sanctuary to contribute cookies. Contact Becky C. with questions or if you can help serve.
FASTING DEVOTIONAL DISTRIBUTED
SUNDAYS DECEMBER 19 & DECEMBER 26
We are getting ready for our corporate fast January 10-29 . While on the fast we will be going through a 31 day devotional together. JBC will give one book per household - no cost, but we do ask if you take a book, you commit to daily participation and reading during the month of January. The book is written by Lynne Hammond and entitled "Whispers From The Secret Place."
